It's been a long time since I posted anything..... busy at work, home etc. 
 
I can no longer stand on the sidelines and watch as the country dives headfirst into socialism.    Like millions of others, I loved the clip from CNBC of Rick Santelli ranting about the latest bailout of the irresponsible.  Is it time for a tea party here in Cuyahoga county?  I think it is.  Let's see if we can set something up here in the comments.

The Mortgage/Wall Street Mess, how did we get here?

I have been researching the mortgage mess and have found a few articles that tell us hhow all of this happened.
 
Here is how it started:
 
 
Here is who made it go from Clinton/leftist shakedown into a way to inflate corporate earnings:
 
 
Then the securities created from all of these bad loans became irresistable to many on Wall Street and they bought them up.
 
Here were two attempts to fix this before it blew up:
 
The economy and stock market will be fine.  We are flushing a lot of the stupidity and greed out of the mortgage industry.

Why is she not hiding in shame in Cuba?  Could it be the following:

She is a liberal

She is a Demorcat

She is a woman

If only the MSM would pursue this fool as they have Sarah Palin's daughter.....

My five year old often asks me why she has to wear a helment when she rides her bike.  I alway reply "so Dad doesn't go to jail."
 
Who knew that she could (someday) have her bike seized?

Top (10) Ways Obama can get his lead back

So the Dalibama is now behind (quite a bit if you believe USAToday).  Here are my suggestions of how he can get back on top:
 
1)  Have Joe Biden racially insult him again for voter sympathy
2)  Send the bitter half on a site seeing trip to Madagascar for (2) months.
3)  Focus his campaining on states 51-57, with extra attention to be paid to New Pennsylvania.
4)  Promise to raise taxes only on T Boone Pickens
5)  Forget Palin, run against Hillary again (let voter's choose the lesser of two evils)
6)  Tell everyone how he once gave a speech without a teleprompter, and only said ugh... 42 times.
7)  Tell voters:  John McCain might have been a POW for (5) years, but I was held hostage in Rev. Wright's church for 20 years!
8)  Ask the Daily Kos to become the semi annual Kos and to schedule their next post for 11/30//08.
9)  Promise a tax break to counter the rising price of arugula.
10)  Run for president of the E.U.

Thanks to the internet, I was able to watch Governor Palin's and Mayor Giuliani last night after Senator McCains.  They were fantastic!!  It was great to see the pitchforks and torches out!  As a card-carrying member of the pitchforks and torches wing of the party, it was great to see them come out swinging. 
 
Senator McCain's speech was good as well.  He showed his character and love of country. 
 
As far as Governor Palin, I realize why the liberal media hates her.  She destroys all of their notions about successful women.  I cannot wait to see her tear into Slow Joe Biden.  After seeing her speech, he probably has taken to wearing Depends.

Biden vs. Palin

So Joe Biden, when asked about the difference between him and Governor Palin answered "she's good looking."
 
For what it is worth, here are some other differences:
 
1)  Barack Obama did not earmark over $3M to Gov. Palin's son's lobbyist client (unlike Joe).
2)  Gov. Palin does not routinely insult immigrant donut shop owners.
3)  Gov. Palin is not a plagerist.
4)  Gov. Palin is not an elitist liberal from the Northeast, she is a conservative NRA member from the (really) Northwest.
5)  Gov. Palin's nickname is Barracuda, not Slow Joe.
6)  Gov. Palin has not been part of the problems in DC for 30 years (or one year for that matter).
7)  Gov. Palin has years of experience making decisions, not making speeches.
8)  Gov. Palin did not come up with the dumbest plan for Iraq before the surge.
9)  Gov. Palin does not think her opponent is good looking.
10) Gov. Palin is not a jackass.

So now we know, the Dalibama has chosen Senator Biden.  Here is what I believe were the top (10) reasons for the pick:
 
10) One elitist socialist from the Midwest combined with one elitist liberal from the Northeast equals balance!
9)  An empty skull for an empty suit!
8)  He's not Hillary.
7)  Or Bill.
6)  Obama's foolish plan for Iraq, when compared to Biden's idiotic plan looks pretty good!
5)  The votes of minority donut shop proprietors as well as those who do not like their work plagerized were going
      to McCain anyway.
4)  He's articulate and clean too!
3)  Did I mention he's not Hillary?
2)  Couple a guy who can't shut up with a guy who cannot speak without a teleprompter... balance again!
1)  Biden's complete racial insensitivity is a nice counter to the merciful one's complete racial sensitivity.
